Hey guys love the podcast.
ReplyDeleteI'm not an avid tipper but I rarely can afford to eat out anyway. When I do its usually a pound (£) or two per person depending on the change available. Not sure what that would be as a percentage. There's no imperative to do so, here in the UK, except in some fancier places. And often its a different person who takes your order than the one who brings it too you, so who do you tip? And what of the chef? I guess they get paid enough.
It doesn't sound right to me that an employer can underpay their staff so they have to work for tips to make it up.
But this is coming form a self-employed Gardener who wont get paid if I don't do the work.
